Terms of Service

1. The Service

phrasd provides meeting recording, transcription, summarization, and related productivity features. Features, plans, and limits may change. We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding credentials, and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.

3. Customer content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you submit (audio, transcripts, notes, files) ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service. You represent that you have all rights and consents needed to record participants and process Customer Content, including under applicable recording and privacy laws.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights
• Do not attempt to breach security, scrape, or overload the Service
• Do not reverse engineer except where mandatory law allows
• Do not upload malware or content you are not authorized to process
• Do not use the Service to process special-category data without a lawful basis

5. Plans, fees, and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance via our payment processor according to the plan you select. Taxes may apply. Unused allowances generally do not roll over unless we state otherwise. You may cancel according to your plan; cancellation stops future renewals but does not entitle you to a refund for the current period except where required by law.

6. Privacy

Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, branding, software, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited rights granted to use the Service, no IP rights are transferred to you.

8. Third-party services

Integrations (for example calendar, drive, or payment providers) are subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services you choose to connect.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated summaries and transcripts may contain errors; you are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or risk to the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive termination.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version. Material changes will take effect on the stated date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law rules. Courts in Sweden have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring claims in their country of residence where mandatory law requires.
